Hard to believe this was released in 1995! Both tracks are great examples of the upcoming dark No-U-Turn sound.

West Side Sax is my personal favourite, especially with the compressed Amen and heavy Reese coming in halfway through the track. August is a much more 'ambient' track, featuring a short jazz loop and filtered Alex Reece + Apache breaks.

Pick this one up.

August is both warm and lush on the ears, as well as being heavy and menacing at the same time, the later being down to the devastating sub used. A really neat and tidy track, with a lot of atmosphere. This tune felt so new and fresh to me back then, and for me stood out against the also very good flip on this 12 West Side Sax... although it was still No U Turn's fresh Tecky sound with its big sub's and cold beats. It still for me has some of that older No U Turn Jungle magic running through it. An excellent release :-)

Woooah Westside Side Sax is a massive tune. The Sub seems recorded way too loud and is one of the subbiest tracks I have ever heard. With it's 'high as a mother F^&ker' sample, where is that from ?
Westside sax is a carmer and more covert affair. Big techstep 12 not to be missed.
