Jumping on the pressing thread. Picked up the box in late 2016 and after a few listens last year, I did not notice any playing imperfections or sound quality issues (and, as many other folks here, I can be a bit OCD about keeping stuff on the shelf that plays even slightly crappy).

Ran through all 6 sides this morning (a full listen) on monitors and after, needle dropping with headphones and I must have lucked out with a good pressing. I mention this to give hope to others who may have had a bad pressing or are hesitant to pick the box up, and the music is... amazing!

What others recommended, if you happen to have a bad one, shoot the label an email. Personal note: The releases I have picked up (6 now, which includes the 2 Macchi box sets) have all been ordered directly from Cinedelic's website. Maybe I got lucky ordering direct. This box, along with 5 other Cinedelic titles I have all sound great with no distortion or skips/clicks. Hope this helps someone.

As a previous user mentioned regarding 128k mp3s. I threw my card out, can't listen to this at 128k... well maybe with some cheap earbuds but with any quality headphones, 128k is rubbish. Wish more labels would offer by default, 320k (or in a perfect world, WAV/AIFF or FLAC alternatives).

Haven't listened to my vinyl copy for some time, but remember it sounding pretty decent. Will have to listen again and update this text.

It might be worth mentioning that the digital download is 128 kbps mp3 files, encoded in iTunes. Wow, thanks Cinedelic. :-/

Bought the album today and thought my needle is finished, so same problem with my copy: Lots of distortion in certain parts and with special frequencies. Such a shame, as the vinyl looks flawless and polished like the rest of the product. Really bad, amateurish job by Cinedelic, considering the price. Avoid the vinyl! Thanks there's Discogs where you can spread information about pressing qualities as well!

Great music, but my copy sounds often blurred and distorted, mainly on higher frequencies.
Is this a general issue or is it just my copy, that is flawed?
