In my opinion, this is Eisenwinter's finest hour. Released during his most melodic, creative and unique period, "Antreten..." is a testament to Grief's creativity. Sparkling, emotive riffs wash over the listener backed by proud and simplistic drums. Trying to describe Eisenwinter to someone who hasn't heard his work is almost impossible, as his guitar playing is not only something noteworthy in the genre, but in general. I have NEVER heard any guitar work quite like this elsewhere. Do not let the politics (which are present only in imagery unless you speak German) dissuade you, Eisenwinter is some of the finest black metal you will ever hear, and this particular cassette is a real treat. True art.
