The only record both my parents wanted when they divorced. Yes, even my dad, who is a rockabilly & country music lover, loves this album. Fun, classic songs with her unmatchable power. Makes me wonder if she ever broke microphones.

Glad to hear that "Are You Havin' Any Fun" is a hit in the UK (thanks @Groovemaster-DJ). All the up-tempo tunes are swell, but "If," with its rapid-fire lyrics and most lines rhyming with the title, would have to be the favorite. "Habit with Me" is a comfortably danceable swing. "And the Angels Sing" one of the most joyful songs ever describing feelings of love.

Are you havin' any fun is currently massive here in the UK as the track for a TV ad for P&O cruises. On first listen you think could be Dela Reese or Ertha Kit not our dear Elaine.

Also excellent in the Tommy Dorsey release on USA Victor 10" shellac. Dead catchy roll back the carpet and get out that tin of LOUD needles!
