"This is a british guitar album with Smiths-taste."
The vocals sound like New Order.
Karl Bartos was involved in Electronic's 1996 Raise the Pressure album (easily the equal of any post Power Corruption + Lies N.O. album imho). (Electronic=Johnny Marr & Bernard Sumner)

Bartos excells at every instrument. This is a british guitar album with Smiths-taste. This man is an unbeliveable talented songwriter. I mean SONG in every aspect. The album was shocking but I've got used to it immediately after the 2nd listening. Nothig electro but the consolation is a great melody-flow. (Well, at the back, the drumming and the bass could have made with live instruments not with cheap samplers though...)
