My copy arrived from Vinyl Me, Please on December 26th. There was no hype sticker or numbered foil on the back. I opened it up and confirmed it was mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound. On colored vinyl. This is an audiophile quality release. AAA and pressed at RTI.

Well, that sounds really terrible. So noisy that I had to check the stylus condition by placing other record. Three stars only for great selection of songs and (crucify me) the nice white appereance.

What does this record actually look like? Does it have a smokey transluscent gray base color like in the promo image or is it clear?

Good music of Ella as always. However, avoid this new pressing. Even if I bought a new sealed repressing, there are listenable crackles caused by scratches, which indicates that the pressing plant was rather indifferent with this matter. Just get the original old pressing from ebay.

This the best Christmas swing album ever. Lively versions of Christmas favorites but done tastefully with great arrangements. Ella vocally is at her best too. Album should be in everyone's Christmas collection.
