I echo kage1974's review below from 8/5/13. I originally had a clean "reprocessed stereo" copy but the master was all over the map; for collectors only, you couldn't listen to it. I posted a query on Steve Hoffman Forums about which version to get (without dropping a fortune on the original mono). One user said Kevin Grey's initials were in the runout of the Friday reissue, and that meant he was the engineer (for those who don't know, this is a good thing; Friday's output is usually sketchy quality when KG isn't involved). Anyway I got it, and I'm very impressed. Such an improvement over what I had prior. I don't know if the original monos are even this good, but I'm sure someone has an opinion (tho I would think they were the SAME source tape, but perhaps they were given more attention?).

I have three Elvis Presley records that I am trying to find out more about and I'm having a terrible time! I'm hoping someone on here can help. Here are the records I have with the best description possible without being able to post an actual picture.
1) Elvis LPM-1382 (I am guessing 1957)
cover printed in Canada, LP made in Canada, silver label print including dog (NOT in colour). "New Orthophonic High Fidelity Recording" printed @ top (on all three recods I have actually).
Front cover: Red ELVIS top left, pic of Elvis playing guitar facing left and looking up. Back cover: three column story beginning with "It was a cold, rainy night on Broadway. The time, January 1956. the place....."
Lp has "long play" printed on bottom of label.
Record #2
Evlis' Golden Records - LPM-1707 (1958)
Basically the same description as above as per where printed/made/label info. Light blue letting on cover, another 3 column story on back.
Final record: Elvis Presley/Loving You LPM-1515 (1957)
same description for lp label, where printed/made (with respect to cover/lp respectively.
Picture of Elvis on front cover, 4 b&w pics on back with two short columns of print on back.
Any suggestions? Ideas? Comment? Would like to know what they are worth or how rare if at all they are. I have found may LPs like these, but not one with the label I have, so I am stumped!
Thanks for your help!
