Joy, the most known track of the three is where it's at. Great break beat drive track with really spiralling lead melodies and fidgety acid synths. It never stops, it's just like it builds and builds over and over again, letting the acid steadily drop, and sweep you off your feet. It's a fairly simple tune actually, but done well. The melody work is, most importantly, very harmonic and catchy, and coupled with great broken beats and loads of memorable acid, it's a sure shot.
The flip side has Macrosoopix, which has great use of acid leads, which absolutely dominate the entire track. On the down side, apart from the amazing 303s, not much else impresses me here. Basically, the gaps between the acid driven parts of the tracks are boring. Once that amazing, juicy lead is dropped, everything else just fades out in front of my eyes. Repetitve, hypnotic and very melodic two minutes long final climax, typical of early Boris Blenn style brings the track to its end. Good, though not as effective as the A side.
B2 has Fusionium, which I don't like at all. It's a pure break beat track with long passages of practically nothing going on, and the lead is this piano played melody which I don't fancy. Sounds pretty uninspiring, and towards the end of the track, there's this intrusion of acid synths, which are, at best lame when and if compared to those of the previous tracks.
