Actually after The Enfields and Friends of the Family I joined The Blues Magoos and went out to LA. Then wrote for various Publishing companies and was signed to Columbia Records with group" Hotspur" in 1973. Have several LP of unreleased music. Smokey Robinson recorded two songs in 1983. ( Blame It On Love LP Motown) My music was not "short lived". lol.

THE ENFIELDS "SONGS OF TED MUNDA" Distortions DB 1003 60s/1991 with 4 Page history Insert

Excellent compilation spanning the short lived career of Ted Munda and his two projects. I have the lp version, but I've also heard the extra tracks that were compiled for the cd and are mostly Friends of the Family songs, all of which are essential garage listening. This doesn't really follow your typical doomy or gruff garage sound, trading it in for a rather poppy edge with Left Banke leanings, or something similiar with a more basement feel. There are also a few tracks that remind me of We The People, although not quite to that level. An enjoyable listen.
