Superb pressing. Good mastering, sounds really amazing. No cracks, or other background garbage. Definitely recommend to purchase.

Super pressing! WAAAYYYY better than the CD. Ultra wide dynamics and dead quiet vinyl. Worth every penny.

My copy sounds fantastic.
Quiet, crackle free background and great depth to the soundstage.
Amazing detail in the synths as well as the vocals.
This pressing sounds great 😀 👍
I have only ever owned this on C.D so my comparison is to that.

After reading the reviews here, I wasn't expecting too much after a clean on the vacuum RCM. To my surprise, my copy is dead quiet with not a pop or crackle through both sides. Sound quality of this master is excellent to my ears though it's a long time since I listened to the original vinyl. Overall, a very good release though I do agree with an earlier comment that the artwork would have been better if they'd retained the original.

Got a copy of this and was very excited to listen to it as I had the tape/CD that I wore out when I originally discovered Enigma. Right out of the sleeve, so many pops and sizzles I thought my stylus was bad. Checked with another record and heard no pops or sizzles. Did a very thorough cleaning of the record and the pops/sizzles remain. Think I will look to buy the used albums if I can find of the original pressings as the newly remastered is just not good in my opinion/setup.

No problems with my copy. Good inherent volume. To me, the effects stand out a bit more which, I think, enhances the album. It doesn't quite sound as hard edged on the high end. I wonder what a DMM pressing would sound like...

I have no idea who came up with this idea... probably the financial department of Universal Germany. This master doesn't come close to the original. it's like a wet piece of monk-cloth has been placed over the speakers. Manfred Melchior (the mastering supervisor) undoubtedly did his utmost, but based on his prior master(ing) pieces, he is more into German hardrock. And has done loads of the obvious compilations CD's ranging from pop to schlager. Cutting a vinyl master for this repertoire is not his core business, I guess. Combine this damp master on noisy colored Pallas-pressed vinyl (I had to cut of some pieces of vinyl on the edge myself... while Pallas can be a great pressing plant), place this in a stiff cardboard inner sleeve (so you can be sure to scratch your record when pulling it out) and put all of this in a cheap one-ply cut-out cover with totally boring and useless new artwork... Question: Why change something that was already good? Sure, the originals are not easy to find and somewhat expensive, but they do right to the music at least. Bad job on this one. Answer: Great P&L for sure.

Very clean release. No crackling, hiss or static out of the package. I'd love to get the rest in the set, but these are pretty damn expensive to buy directly from the website including the shipping you have to pay... when the warehouse is in the USA. $34.99 + $9.97 shipping... yikes. Doesn't make sense since it appears it's cheaper anywhere else outside the USA.
