I used to own the original 1995 vinyl press of this superb album, and I can state unequivocally that this reissue is a dramatic improvement in sound quality from that edition. very high quality vinyl, brighter, clearer sound, & much, much less surface noise than the original had. Also, I recall disc 1 of my original copy was pressed slightly off-center, which was pretty glaringly noticeable on the outro to "rock me gently"; this error is also eliminated in the new pressing.

incidentally, I've always felt that "love the way you do so" having a cold ending on the vinyl version to accommodate the side break makes the song much more effective than having it segue into "angel" on all other versions. hearing the cold ending version newly remastered was seriously chilling.

this is *the* version of the album to buy on vinyl, no doubt.
