My copy of "best of unreleased" CD doesn't work on some CD players (eg. Rotel RCD-06), anyone have the same problem?

I don't remember where I read it but the mix is said to be one of the hardest mixes to have been made, since Etnica actually couldn't hear what they were playing.

Certainly it will be one of the iconic releases, because it is a classic,
and the one who sensed this at the time, will always be in his heart...

This release is hands down one of the crown achievements in goa trance's history. That's probably one of the reasons the reviews here hardly tell anything else than to buy it and hear for yourself. Perhaps people who are aware of this release won't need too much persuading anyway to get their hands on this, the tracklist speaks for itself.

And indeed, what more could you ask for? Here we've got a great live set that was recorded at the time without Etnica's approval. So it's all thanks to some Greek DAT thieves we get to hear this - somewhat funny trivia you can read in the linear notes. You can hear how Etnica showed a great deal of effort for the live shows and none of the tracks in this set sound as they'd be played from cd - the tracks have lots of variation to the known previously released ones.

The "bonus" disc with unreleased is still my own favourite here. The selection is spot on and shows these Italian maestros had never-ending well of ideas. I'm super glad they could restore 'Mental Puzzle' which is a fantastic 14 plus minutes trip - the climax is something out of this world. The other track I'd like to give a quick mention is 'Fluorophilia Camps Bay' that is one of kind track in their catalogue - they made it in South Africa and that might be the reason why it has such an intense jungle/nature vibe to it.

Being such a gargantuan release it's hard to sum things up so I'm just gonna say... buy it. ;)
