Recorded at Sigma Sound Studios, Philadelphia, April 19th 1971. Issue copies supposedly have "The Lord Is Back" (from the 'Headless Heroes' LP) as the other side; this probably went unissued; can't find any evidence of release copies. It was almost certainly shelved at the same time that all promotion for "Headless Heroes" was pulled at the behest of Spiro Agnew following a directive from President Richard Milhous Nixon himself. Eugene McDaniels might have wound up a "Headless Hero" too if E. Howard Hunt's bungling 'Plumbers' hadn't been caught in the Watergate Hotel...either way, it effectively finished his Atlantic recording career.
