The second album of Evil Activities called Evilution is very good. On 9 May 2008 there was the special album release party for this album, where I've heard some new tracks from that album for the first time on that party.

This album contains mainstream hardcore tracks, but also shows that hardcore has many faces nowadays. It can sound beautifull, raw, funny almost every apsect of hardcore can be found on this album.

For me this is the best hardcore album of the first half of 2008 and also the best hardcore of the entire year 2008 for now. I'm still curious which album can be better this year, but that will not be better than this briljant album from Evil Activities by a longshot.

Evil Activities is back, but this time slightly disappointing.Ok,let's start from the begining:first two tracks Evilution,Cold As Me are ok but every time when i'm listening those two i have the impression that something is missing, more work could be done on the bass line ,on the sounds. The third track No Place To Hide on the cd in my opinion is rubbish. The female vocals are just awful and for me this is too comercial. In a real hardcore song female vocals do not exist. The same with Rocking With The Best and Nobody Said It Was Easy (in this case there are male vocals and it sounds like crap). To Claim The Future,Raw To The Floor pretty decent but the vocals again awful.Extreme Audio is very nice but the next track The Way I Am (Endymion Remix) again i don't like because lately Endymion tracks are just too soft and commercial and all sounds the same. From Cradle To Grave , (again i hate the female vocals),Quiet Dedication (Neophyte & Tha Playah Remix) , Klaar Om Te Rossen very nice. The second CD is ok but with few exceptions:Invincible is ok but again the vocals (this time male vocals)are very bad.Nobody Said It Was Easy and Rocking With The Best i said earlyer. The rest of the tracks are ok but again there is the impression that they could do better. In conclusion this album is overrated and if you want too spend your money on real hardcore buy Angerfist-Mutilate.
