Example may be described by some as a rapper, but Example's music has become more and more poppish with every album. He sings, has catchy lyrics and his songs are generally the sort of stuff that would make it into the charts. In this album he ventures from the rap-based Skies Don't Lie to the beautiful Lying To Yourself using a wide range of different genres to his advantage.
There are only two songs on this album that are, in my opinion, disappointing. They are The Way and Under The Influence. The Way is a slow, repetitive song produced by Faithless and Under the Influence, a vaguely catchy but strange sounding song, is produced and written by Skream. Strangely though, The Way has been covered by an Australian band called Kurdaitcha Cards (http://www.reverbnation.com/kurdaitchacards) and turned into a good song and Under The Influence has been remixed by Moombah (http://soundcloud.com/thingstoimproveupon/example-under-the-influence) and turned into a good tune. This suggests that Example simply missed an opportunity.
Those two songs aside, the album is a brilliant pop/rap masterpiece that everyone should listen to at least once in their life.
