A true pleasure from start to finish. A Post Rock classic. This pressing sounds fantastic to my ears.

Mine has two identical copies of the second disc (Sides C & D). I got this years ago and no clue where. Maybe a mix up at a record store or something.

Here is the monolith that told everyone that post rock was here to stay, under the banner of EITS, and with much more to behold than a genre closely guarded by art students or gruff anarchs. This album is full of love, melancholy, and optimism. Things that were never major themes of the post rock works that preceded it. This is a great work of the genre and a must have for any fans.

bought my non-gatefold at a show in Pomona in 2012, so this was at least in part a tour merch release.

I get a hissing noise in places. I was wondering if the previous owner had spilled something on it.

Really noisy pressing, even after washing it. Serious bummer.

My pressing is decent enough. All Of A Sudden seems to be a really bad pressing. This one is for the most part pretty good. There are a few spots that seem a bit noisy, I am hoping it's just static/dust. Playing the last bit of it now.
I do love this record and I am glad it doesn't suffer from the horrible quality that All Of A Sudden does.
