The original is actually by Jan Hammer as is all of Miami Vice's original score. The original is kind of hard to play in any other set than deep/ambient, but with this one, one can drop one of the remixes, or FPU's original in almost any kind of set. Very good remake but nothing ever beats the original.

Sure, it sounds cheesy, but I love it! :D
It just gives the original from Harold Faltermeyer that extra spunk.
Tiga does a nice remixing-job again and added some vocals.
Not a big lover of vocals, but Tiga just gets away with it time, after time, after time..

June 11, 2013A2: Gorgeous techno rework. Nicely adds the edge to make it work "out", while retaining the beauty and subtlety of the "original". One to lose yourself in while also being very accessible. A triumph. [GOLDTEN]
B1: Electro vocal version. Rapid dark elecro loops are made more accessible with a new nicely balanced vocal that works very well. The breakdown which wavers too far from the original vibe becomes rather flat and prosaic but once the essence returns you're back in the zone. A shame as this could have been exceptional. [NINE]
B2: Upbeat funky house version. Excellent less obvious option. Has much more of a smile on it's face as it carves out it's own niche. Vocal cresendo at the end darkens it slightly but gives it that extra pop. [TEN]
