The title track is just truly stunning electronic music! wow!

Please re-press! Total classic! Some of (if not the) best of Richie's recordings. Runs the full gamut of electronic sound: hard techno, ambient, and of course the undefinable sound of 90s 'Artificial Intelligence'. Essential.

'Substance abuse' seems inspired by Joey Beltrams 'Energy Flash', listening to the echoed claps, the crash cymbals and the consecutive drops. The low pitched yelling of 'Overdoze Overdoze Overdoze' seems outdated now, but is it really? When the Bjarki track with similar silly vocals is the current hyped record.

The best thing Richie Hawtin has done by miles. This album has a beautiful fluidity which I find missing in his later work. To my ears his recordings as F.U.S.E. (Future Underground Sound Experiments.) show Richie at the peak of his creative zenith. Great cover artwork by his brother Matthew too. A classic.

For many many reasons this is one of the best techno releases ever committed to vinyl! These tracks are not one-dimensional and display Richie Hawtin's best writing in his long and storied career. Some are deep and some are thumpin' hot, a few are timeless enough to be rendered classics, all are awesome. If you do not have this or have never heard it, find it, listen closely and enjoy one of the best techno forays ever recorded. I miss this kind of techno. It's "true", unlike the silliness portrayed in those stupid-ass Budweiser commercials. They should have a picture of this album cover with any of the tracks playing for 25 seconds and then mutter the word "TRUE".
