Another fantastic entry to the Music On Vinyl Faith No More reissue extravaganza!

Introduce Yourself has never sounded better. This beautifully-executed release really brings out the details in all of these bouncy/fun/wild/aggressive tracks. It really makes me appreciate the production on this record as well as wonder how Matt Wallace and company went from this sound to the tin-fest that was The Real Thing.

I know people (myself included) will always prefer Patton's vocal finesse but there always something endearing about Chuck Mosley's out-of-tune, punk style. The man has a ton of personality and a uniqueness that was always lacking from Faith No More's future albums. The tunes with him certainly felt more laid-back and fun with him around. You can tell the guys had a good time making this record. Plus in a way this has been the only Faith No More album to date in which every member was cemented in their role as the same line-up here had been touring together for a few years prior and produced the debut We Care a Lot on Mordam Records. Patton had been in the band for less than year when The Real Thing came out, Martin was hardly a member of the group during the making of Angel Dust and left soon after, Trey Spruance only stuck around to record on KFAD and was out, and lastly Jon Hudson only appeared on AOTY.

But I digress, anyone reading this is already familiar with FNM and this album but in my opinion this is the definitive version of it and that banana Runt yellow POPS!
