By far Fantomas's best moment and they cover each film score in a unique and impressive way. Like Mr Bungle before, every member plays a respective role and combined make a flawless unit. I noticed an unofficial Lp is now floating about, so isn't it time Ipecac reiussed this masterpiece on vinyl? not all of us unfortunately can afford Wunderkammer's asking price.

I don't really think it gets much better than this. I mean really, familiar themes, insane musicianship, it's sort of like got the feel of some serious hardcore, but without any of the schlock. In other words, pure fun.

This album is beautifully glossy, polished to perfection horrock.
Old movie scores give the John Zorn treatment.
6/July/2001 & 28/November/2000 to hear different lyrics, works in progress much of what would go onto this album. 25/7/2000 Viva German TV ran a great interview, ..certain some kind person will have uploaded to Youtube & suggest you check that one out.

This release is quite an accomplishment in my opinion. These modern renditions of old movie themes and T.V. shows are punctuated by Mike Patton's haunting vocals and crushing instrumental performances by King Buzzo, Dave Lombardo, and Trevor Dunn. The standout tracks, in my mind, are "Charade" and "One Step Beyond". A must listen for any music lover.
