found one in charity shop today and snatched it on sight, along with a bunch of house singles. i never see fashion stuff outside the internet and the shop gave them away at 99p each. got home, played it multiple times and did'nt realise that it was a little more unusual than i realised. it does not quite match the other SPART 1185 UK issues already in the database:

matrix's on my copy:

side A:
SPARTY 1185 A//1 ▽420 U 1 1
(etched in) [lyre]topia

side B:
SPARTY 1185 B//3 ▽420 T 1 1
(etched in) JA TAPE ONE

the printed inner sleeve and record labels are like this version:
https://www.discogs.com/Fashi%C3%B8n-Fabrique/release/9825568

the inner sleve just has the TCART stuff in the lower right corner

but the outer sleeve is like this version:
https://www.discogs.com/Fashion-Fabrique/release/8766998

the back has the chunky triangular Arista logo and it says printed in west germany

now i could just dismiss this and say the previous owner had the two versions already listed in the database and muddled the inner and outer sleeves up, but the matrix runouts are quite different so i can't be too sure

i need some help in identifying it and wherever it should be listed as a variant or as a completely different pressing/issue.

Great album and fabulous singles/mixes. Being re-released in 2017 (better be quick as it's already November…) according to the 'Fashion Fabrique' Farcebook page.
Give Dave Harris some love and it may finally happen!

anyone into vinyl and a slight disco bent is mad not to gobble these up. I played a few tracks as a DJ way back , cant belive the quality of the initial pressings. And the whole album is a grower. What on earth happened to this great Brummie band is a mystery !

Buy the UK pressing. Why Arista US switched up the track order is baffling.

Decadent techno-funk just made for cruising the slick, night streets of Berlin at 4:00 AM in your DeLorean. If cocaine were music, this album would be the result. The band declared that this album was designed as accompaniment for "screwing and taking drugs" and I wouldn't dispute that. The slink factor here is off the map.

Zeus B. Held's production technique reached its acme here with the height of analog technology mixing beautifully with the nascent digital tech of the day. This album sounds like it cost a fortune in 1982 dollars and you can hear every cent spent. De Harris' surgical guitar licks heighten the tension. My favorite white funk album ever [sorry Heaven 17!].

A great "set the cool mood" record. The slow tracks ("You Only Left Your Picture" and "Slow Blue") are quite nostalgic and evocative of the great love affair yet to be. The dance tracks are fairly catchy. Above all, the Zeus B Held production remains, 20 years after, one of the more sophisticated I have heard, filled with subtle sounds and electronic wizardry (stated on the LP cover, the list of equipment is rather extensive).
