I reckon this could be the climax of UK house in the early 90s. It takes the concept of the rolling build-up throughout much of the track but somehow multiplies the intensity many times over. The depth and penetration of the main hook is sensational, and the vocal sample was well chosen, muttered through some of the track, then belted out to huge effect in other parts. You know how some people stand up and clutch their hand to their chest on hearing their country's national anthem? I still have to do that when I hear this track - simply anthemic.

Amazing and very energetic house track made in the little bedroom studio from Rollo (later producer of Faithless) together with his friends Felix and Red Jerry. For their track "Don't You Want Me" (released under the alias "Felix") they used a sample of the Jomanda track "Don't You Want My Love". It got signed to Hooj Choons and released in 1992. It became a huge hit worldwide and sold over 2,5 million (!!!) copies. Got re-released and covered many times, but in my opinion nothing will ever beat the original Hooj Mix.
