The opening riff of the guitar told me right away, we're up to something special here. Sibylle Aeberli plays a really mean guitar with loud open chords, reminding me sometimes of Danzig songs, no joke. Drum and bass hold the thing together, sounding so heavy, thanks also to a studio where they know how to do it right. But above all there's the singing of Pierangela, goes straight to the heart, very personal songs about love death and probably also politics. To tell the truth, I could not listen to the whole record, way too intense. Angie was known to probably hundreds of bands who played the Rote Fabrik in Zurich, where she worked in the stage sound crew. Knowing this impressive personality who died only five years after this record, listening to those songs is not easy.
