So is the "vocal" version on this release (A1) the version with Robert Owens? A bit confusing, with the youtube-videos and all...

Was there a repress in 2001? Maybe some missing boxes discovered? I got one in 2001 new at a store.

The "Jack" intro is not on this vinyl !!! The acapella (B2) is the Martin Luther King speech (I Have A Dream). B1 is the "Can You Feel It" track, but again, with the M.L.K. speech in it.

The only vocal version that was done by Larry Heard was the one with Robert Owens. That Chuck Roberts stuff was done by the Hotmix 5 guys or some others. To me the original instrumental version is the one and only version, done sometime in 1984.

The accapella intro "In the beginning there was Jack, and Jack had a groove,..." was a huge hit in Belgian clubs back in the 90's, especially in house clubs like Montini and Baccardi's. I think in the end every club visitor could repeat it from his head, as we all where brainwashed by it.
