Tubb Journey begins a laid back skank groove without overstepping the mark into full on dub territory. Quickly moving through triphop, its restful chords hold you as the percussion opens up dynamically into a far faster landscape, I've sat through entire albums that do not incorporate these changes as fluidly as just this 'one track'.

The Surgeon, a keyboard motif and light theremin wind around a trip hop beat as a piano is gently pushed down a lift shaft. Its better than I make it sound, a head nodder.

The Fink Vs DJ Ali-Cat sets itself out as a moody piece, giving way to a percussive break that once it locks into the groove does a great job of holding your attention as it moves effortlessly into breaks that would be at home on an early electro record. Its the breakdowns and 'space' in the recording that are worthy of note, its suspense and anticipation.

The Chilli Mix seems to have recovered the piano from the lift shaft with a few other members of the orchestra and along with a clockwork groove, fuses acoustic guitar with a rough sounding rhythm that should 'not work', but this is Fink, he has a knack for this.
