So, go for the black vinyl or no go in case of sound and quality pressing?

I bought this album on a whim as I'd heard it was fantastic. I'd never heard a Fleet Foxes song before and I was really looking forward to it. While this pressing is fine and I have no issues with it, the album itself is garbage. I do apologise to Fleet Foxes fans when I say that though, as I know loads of people like it. I genuinely don't see the appeal with this album. It's produced very well and the mixing is great, but it's just terribly boring (to me, anyway).

Truly great music. But unfortunately the sound quality of the vinyl is poor. There is only low background noise or crackles and the vinyl looks great, but it all sounds hard and undefined. Maybe badly mastered for vinyl? But I have t say, I like the poly lined inner record sleeves...

This may be the most digital and sad sounding record I own, even if it doesn't have crackles. makes it hard to enjoy the music. Very, very disappointed.
