An excerpt:

It feels like the zombie themes presented with Flesh Eating Foundation and the album title “Dead shall Rise” are also directly symbolic of the current social structure in various countries around the world. Corporations feed the politicians, the politicians feed the media, and the media has continued to brainwash the average person on their behalf. This has been a problem long before media had control over it, but with the advent of the internet and television, the situation has gotten both worse and better at the same time. One more critical components of control in television, while the internet represents a freedom from that control, hence the latest attempts from various governments around the globe, especially the US, to hammer down new bills that would be enacted to control the internet. Dead shall Rise represents the rising of society, finally, into a post-modern consciousness that escapes the current confines of control that we’ve grown comfortable with and accustomed to. While the album may not be too unique in sound, what Flesh Eating Foundation has to say echoes an important message that politically/socially-charged bands have been trying to push for decades: Wake the fuck up!
