Agreed. 'Doing Shows' is one of the most trippy, psychedelic, intense house tracks I have heard yet. The flanging synth line, the way the stereo image flickers across the speakers and the dubby sensibility really make this a head trip. Stunning.

I cannot for the life of me understand why, at the time of this comment submission, this song isn't on anyone'es want list. I first heard it on Floppy Sounds' under-appreciated "Short Term Memories". This version is longer than the "album" version, and worth every dark, relentless, amazingly produced minute of extra material. Some folks might like the B side remix, but Rob Rives is the shining talent here.
