Here we have Dominic Glynn in one of his lesser known guises. Spittin' Sand is a trip hop song with a chill out eastern vibe to it. The mechanical beat in support of the vibe is creative. The balance of sci-fi and huge acid sound make this an original track for sure. Flute on top of a heavy acid sound? Indeed original. Now here is where the genius comes in. When you think it's predictable and you feel the track is going to turn average it switches up. The acid distracts you, the beat drops, the flute lulls you...the beat comes back in but it's got other plans then continuing the same as the first 5 minutes. Sci-fi comes back, deep bass hits, turns into a dub almost drum n bass beat. Massive! Secretly it fades out leaving you wanting a conclusion. Odd. But cool.

Dust Dancing is another good one. Straight forward but a heck of a hook. It's almost a deep house tip on a drum n bass downtempo beat. Very creative and original song again. Catchy and It's a perfect track that bridges the day into the night. If you like John Beltran i would recommend this. This is deep but also straight forward. Excellent fx on the keyboards as a saxophone brings it to a standing ovation. Brilliant!

Hand it to Domimic Glynn to take the normal formulas and make them stand out. Well done.
