To me this album will always be one of the unsung heroes of mid-90s industrial music and I would still consider it one of my favorites in my collection. Here we have very untypical rhythms, long interludes of dark ambient, the occasional clubby moments, but most importantly, an amazingly atmospheric flow from beginning to end. Andreas did not partake too heavily in the whole industrial/EBM scene, which is probably a good thing, because it allowed him to produce exactly what he wanted, without compromise. If you don't have this classic release, you really are missing out. And his follow-up, Automate, finds him traveling further down that quiet, deep path, shrugging off genres or expectations - must have material after listening to Navigator. We can only hope the journey continues.
