Interesting release this as early reports labelled it as a bootleg. The sound quality is certainly inferior to Franks usual output on Music Man. I have fond memories of hearing Magic Orchestra for the first time and went out to local records shops in search of it. I remember back then around the same time I was in the same record shop and two guys walked in looking quite lost and clueless. They shuffled up to the counter and one nervously said in a foreign accent "We're looking for some techno and rave music please?" I laughed inside thinking to myself how weird is this. The record shop assistant said "ok" and as he did reached under the counter and pulled out a copy of this record and handed it over saying something like "this is very good, I would recommend it if you're just getting into the techno scene". I wondered at the time if it had as much impact on them as it did me.
