Despite being re-issued here only a few months ago, the American’s have been slow on the uptake, yet thankfully the wait has proven justified. Signed to and remixed Peter ‘Club 69’ Rauhofer, the seminal classic has never sounded better. Now transformed into the US juxtaposition of hard house, the actuality is this just a brilliant remix made for the tribal ‘n’ twisted generation. An inspired and effervescent remix, that builds on the existing gargantuan groove by adding a head swimmingly elaborate sound collage that works beautifully against Holly Johnson’s defiant verse, this has to be heard on a large system to truly appreciate just how good it really is.
