These three extended pieces were commissioned and aside from Professor Jive, they have not stood the test of time well, essentially being "one and done" projects. "Riding High" is extremely dated and over the top, while "Solo Brothers" is almost excruciating to hear. Neither represents a high point among Jon Hendricks' discography.
