This classic twelve inch single contains freestyle tunes carved by the hands of the all mighty Arthur Baker (whose participation include several other timeless projects (Afrika Bambaata on "Planet Rock", Planet Patrol on "Play At Your Own Risk", etc.) for the Beggars Banquet Music (composed by Maas, Rocca, Stennett, and Baker himself). While "Pop Goes My Love" has clearly a pop approach, the track has a dub version on side B ("Scratch Goes My Dub"), whose scratching Honors belong to the well-known Whiz Kid (partner of G.L.O.B.E. on the Tommy Boy quintessential record "Play That Beat Mr. DJ"). The smaller track on side B, "No Need For Greed", differs from the other ones since it's a little more electro-funk oriented.
