Frits has been on a ROLL. These four untitled edits (remixes?) are just what you expect from Wentink: creative, weird, funky and funny.

A1 and A2 have a great chill vibe to them, giving off a dreamlike atmosphere with the Rhodes piano, synths and hip-hop drums. B1 has the funky summertime hip-hop vibe with an afrobeat-style rhythm.

B2 - the "S.A.D. Mix" - was the track that made me want to buy the record ever since Frits played it on one of his Red Light Radio sets. This one is clearly the weirdest track of the bunch, and I say that with high praise. Frits flips the upbeat vibe of B1 into a deep, moody atmosphere. It retains the original's drum beat while adding sound effects along a slow and continuous DJ Screw vocal loop ("try to reeead mee, try to reeead mee"). It sounds like you're going through a surreal jungle at night. It's a hilarious remix executed perfectly.

If you find this EP, pick it up. It's definitely worth the money.

My copy came warped. Sill playable though, so I don't mind. But it looks terrifying...
