"Bent's Zorba Mix" is the best remix on this maxi-single, IMO.

The original is this really dark mood-piece driven by big ominous pads and slowly grows in. A light jazz drumbreak is brought in after a minute or so and provide some grounding to the track. Halfway in there is some activity going on in the soundscape and effected sounds that provide good variety to the track but it's all kept in the background.

For his own remix he takes drums off and emphasise the soundscaping and alot of effects is added. Good version and a good companion piece to the original.

Bent's remix starts on the effected strings and kicks the track along with a ragtimey type piano. The pads is transformed to a dark bassline and Tom Scott's 'Sneakin in the back' drums are brought on, along with a percussion loop from Max Sedgley's 'Happy'. Bent added some sampled vocals, a subtle acidline, some guitar strummings, a trumpet and some strings. A very well made remix and it was this which attracted me to this track.

Flying Fish's version is the dancefloor version and is therefore the tempo is taken up a few notches. A nice kicking drumbreak and vibrant percussion sets the tone while Funki Porcini's sounds are used for atmosphere.
