Another Hot MSXEP release!
Corrupt Souls deliver 4 more awsome tracks.

Side X: With Concrete Combat there's no messing around, it starts with just small intro, hi-hat and eiree 'martix' sounding synths, which soon stops to make way for a solo bassline droning in such a way as to almost make me drool, an angry "Concrete Combat" sample on the drop, it kicks with amen sounding beats. Unfortunately there is only slight progression in the bassline and the drums but with the nice background sound that get used makes it one a phat tune none-the-less.

Side Y: Final Fantasy - "Control Your Mind...Control Your Fantasy" again a small intro with these samples and a "low bit-rate" sounding drum beat. The bassline in the intro again is perfect along with softened string samples. The tune kicks on a dark vibe, but has a lot of progression where the strings are added to soften the vibe immensly, I wasn't 100% sure on the old 'disco synth stabs' but they work well with the Female 'Ohhhh Yeeaeeahhh' sample, and is growing on me. The progression in the tune is really nice especially the string section.

Side XX: The Dawn - My favorite track on this release (i think, while i'm in this mood anyways) 'Trance n Bass' baby! It has the TnB bassline you'd expect, a nice piano riff, quite a bit of 'Back' Scratching, an awsome 'Ohhhh' female samples. I can see this tune bringing a tear to quite a few eyes with its sheer beauty.

Side YY: 417 - Is quite a different tune from all the above, the bassline's especially reminds me a lot of Future Prophecies earlier stuff. It has some progression in the tune, not enough by far though, I expected more at the second drop after the main break-down.
