I've got a hologram CD version of this, with 8 mixes on it. Can't seem to find it on here. 1996 hypnotic CLP9743-2 on the spine/edge.

I used to sell rare dance records online for a living until discogs dispelled the myth of rarity whilst simultaneously making other rare records even more expensive.early on,around 2000/2001 I bought a collection of records from a guy from Glasgow who told me about the first time he ever heard Papua New Guinea.he said the entire population of the club just swarmed the decks to find out the name of this tune which seemed to come from the very heavens themself.
He said 'nobody had heard anything like it,it was as if the roof had been blown off and the sky had opened and let in the cosmos'....'life would never be the same'

Qube mix is exclusive to this release (and the 2003/2004 repress). A shame, it really completes the sequence of this 12", would be great to get another repress of this configuration of PNG. I don't have the 12", but it can be recreated digitally with the first two tracks coming from the UK CD single, and I made a cleaned up FLAC version of the Qube mix from a vinyl rip from online (which actually is slightly too fast) if anyone wants it.

This release includes the best mix in my opinion, The Qube mix. It's very beaty with an old skool 303 squelchy/acidy bass line. Expensive record these days but well worth it.

How do the tracks on these releases compare with the version on the Accelerator album? Worth buying?

A timeless house/goa classic, one of my favourite ever.
To precise Puzl_Munkey's comment, the feminine voice you can heard at the beginning fo the track was sampled from Dead Can Dance's "Dawn Of The Iconoclast" (album "Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun"), it's played at different speeds.

Doesn't everyone wish they produced this record? This is the plastic that helped refine my love of dance music and paved the way for techno, hardcore and even drum & bass.
Even the original mix by todays standard is absolutely incredible.
If you don't know this, find the original mix on Youtube get a reasonable sound system outside during sunset in the summer and turn it up!
