Very solid release. Shows traces of all that is good about minimal techno and the way M_nus operates as a label. No words do these sounds Justice. Either you like this rigid, straight forward jacking hybrid of Techno, House and Acid or you don't. Usually there is not much melodie to be found here, which can be a good thing; the producers concentrate more on the sound, compress it as dense a possible and make the little changes work - some special sound effects are often what makes a Tune special- As you could hear on his smash hit 25 Bitches very clearly. The Track that is different on Eye Contact is the last one D2 " Withdráwal". Dancefloor friendly, with a very cool groove, enriched with some Dubs and nice sounds Withdrawal works it's way thru that enticing sweet Synthie Line, that shines in this reduced melodic context three times as bright as on a Bodzin or Guy Gerber Album. The arrangement looses that melodic richness during the 6.03 mnutes playing time, but the remaining Stabs of that Synthie Line let's the melodie linger on in your mind-Great !
