Very WEAK album.
Poorly programmed SFX that will blow your head off because they're everywhere!!! even when you don't wanna hear them!! like a child that gets excited after a new discovery - repeating and repeating the same thing, over and over.
Melodies, where are the bloody melodies ? everything is so basic with a huge lack of creativity throughout.
33 tracks (I had to stop several times because my head exploded) that they all are more or less the same.
I still need to think how much to rate, so bbl.

The music here is a lost treasure for sure and there are several tracks that are at the top of the Classic Goa Trance genre, but some of the original sound quality that has been lost in the remastering translation. When I first purchased this some time ago, I was listening to it and had to go back and check to make sure I was not listening to a "New School" Goa trance release because there is a depth of sound in releases from the 1990's that is not found here on this release. could it be. Not wanting to be critical, but being honest is important. So this is an Old School treasure that sounds a bit New School. If you can handle this, it is still very wonderful to hear these great tracks, but for those of us who are purists, we will always be wishing to hear these tracks in their original sound purity. For New School devotees, this is a must have because nothing in the New School sound can top this. A must have for collectors of Classic Goa Trance.

Not much to be said..
The materialization of this release is one of the best things ever happened in the history of Psychedelic - Goa Trance scene...

The long-awaited edition Gangguru came to me. Worse than this edition I saw nothing, disks are inserted into cardboard, all scratched, such horror... Cardboard with longitudinal strips from dents, do not buy this edition, full shit!!! DAT Records as it is not a shame to you to sell it while you do collections in the tsyetnykh boxes. It was possible to treat Gangguru better. Do not buy!!!

In one word, this release is WOW!! From the mighty DAT Records with get a triple album from one of the most enigmatic acts in the genre. The promo text says they produced more than a 100 tracks in the 90's but never got anything released except for one 12" and the odd compilation track and suddenly what do we have? A triple album with 33 mesmerizing tracks across. Release is a gigantic rollercoaster of super- energetic trance all aimed at the the dancefloor. There isn't much time to grab some breath, tempo is generally very high and some tracks come close to hard trance yet in a Goan key. Their aren't much light moments either, music generally leans towards the murky side of Goa yet there are still a lot of memorable melodic passages. Production is amazing, and the DAT crew have certainly done a lot to restore and enhance music what otherwise would have been lost in oblivion. Gangguru's style reminds me very much of Gangnia/ X.I.S. for some reason, I'm sure that would have been an excellent collaboration, Ganggangnia maybe? 😁

The only thing I don't like about the release is the packing. I understand that in these times a triple album from an unknown act of this kind of music from a label which doesn't aim to profit the costs have to be kept to the minimum so an Ecopak is a sensible option. However with this kind of packing the discs invariably end with a lot of scuffs and the discs tend to fall out if opened tilted to the other side. The booklet also tends to fall from the side, and the CD pocket will eventually start splitting from the corners. But hey the artwork is still magnificent and there's no way the packing shadows this outworldly music. My advice - buy it NOW while still available at shop price!
