Intensity of this sound cannot be described with words. Probably the best prog house tune i've listened to.

Same kind of dirty heavy bass tracks:
spartak - swallows & amazon (dark driver remix)
ben camp - movian force
slive vs healey - wicked behaviour
guzman & karlos - dakkar
the cure - a forest (slide mix)
decepticons - the beast
madoka - broadband

Without doubt my 2002 Track of the Year, the original uses a dubby, bass-heavy groove to ease into the monstrous, tech-sounding kind of lead Gardner & Thomas did so well with in their previous releases. A straightforward banger until halfway through, when percussion drops & heavily filtered, oddly angelic chords kick in. Vocal drops (MUSIC FLOWING IN YOUR SOUL/LET YOUR BODY LOSE CONTROL) & from there on you'll just about forget where you are & what you're doing--yes, don't squit your eyes dubiously, it really IS that good. I never thought I'd ever say this, but Blackwatch's (aka Thomas) own dub, more minimalistic & percussion-ladden (with just a few instances of the vocal) fails to capture the driving feel of the original. Still a solid set-builder, but hardly lives up to the expectations set up by side A.
