Cool obscure private press that was discovered after the Acid Archives was finished, otherwise it should have been reviewed positively there. Amazing dreamy folk rock with great singing and very pro production and playing. One of those entries in the late singer songwriter genre looking back on the 70s while being completely out of its time. Comparisons could be made to other obscurities like David Habeck and Bert Keely, while I think this is superior to the latter. 'Maze Of Dreams' is a fantastic song. Has also some similarities to Bobb Trimble although this is less weird and has a more professional touch, even using strings on some tracks. It has a definite psych vibe. Can also be easily enjoyed by lovers of 80s and 90s chamber pop and indie stuff like Belle and Sebastian, especially the last long track should leave many fans of indie folk and pop flabbergasted. Really great, actually something like a lost classic. The AOR tag, to which it is connected here, is really off the map. His second album is really weak.

My first introduction into the Xian Folk genre, I found this LP in a quaint Floridian seaside town called "Seaside"!!
So Highly Recommended!!!!
