This is not a very interesting album. The production is quite good, but the songs are formulaic and feel unemotional compared with Ace Ventura's new album "Paradise Engineering". Some of the breakdowns in these tracks seem to last forever, and really kill momentum in a DJ mix. I'm not a fan of breakdowns that fool the audience into thinking a drop is about to land, only to dissipate into silence again. At its best, though, this album has some gorgeous hi-fi synth sounds, rolling grooves and expansive reverberant sound spaces. Gaudium knows how to write a tuneful lead melody. Really, his music has always been cheesy and a kind of obvious 'lowest common denominator' of psytrance, with bold, strident themes. I can feel Gaudium's passion for the craft sometimes, but other moments on the album feel quite skeletal & formulaic, like they're phoning it in. All in all, not terrible, but hard to listen to all the way through; better as a DJ tool than as an album, and even then you have one of the 'safest' sounds in PsyProg.

I love this album! The best for 2015! You can really hear and feel the grim viking attitude and the mighty sensitive scandivian herritage through the tracks! What a scandinavian blast from the past and tribute he's offering here ! 5/5
