"Masterpiece" by Gazebo is one of the biggest italo disco songs ever created and is arguably the song responsible for putting Baby Records on the map! What makes "Masterpiece" a masterpiece you may ask? The male vocals are spectacular, the instrumental segements are beautiful, and the piano work is perfectly written. This song falls into a distinct category of italo disco that just a few other artists ever sampled: classical piano notes simultaneously played to a synthesizer, thus creating a very unique classical/contemporary sound (Ryan Paris and Ameli being the other two big artists who used this style, of which Gazebo is responsible for). The nearly 13 minute instrumental is definately on many italo lovers top 10 of all-time for a good reason!
