The history of this record:
Thanks to the relationships that were created between Minifunk / SoDens and Detroit's Submerge distributor (UR, Red Planet, Planet E ...) we were finally able to contact Spencer Kincy aka Gemini and invite Barcelona to perform at the Moog club. The one who turned out to be a big and good-natured guy to the deal, presented himself with a bag of DATS in his backpack, and told us "Mike Banks told me you have a stamp, you want to get something of mine".

And he sold us the tracks as Mixtapes are sold on a NY or Detroit sidewalk:

- How many tracks? How many vinyl are you going to do? "- asks Spencer.

- It would be great an EP of 4 tracks, 2000 vinyls to start "- we answer, flipping.

- Well, you give me 1000 dollars now in cash (or a similar amount, honestly, I do not remember exactly). And if you want to reprint, you pay me again, huh? Or I'll go back to Chicago. -

And he pointed his finger at us with the gun, and laughed funny ...

We chose in our study of the Raval the 4 agreed tracks of between the twenty that took in digital tapes of which they were used then.

We immediately published the Omnipresent EP, which was distributed by PIAS. The 2000 vinyls flew in the initial orders, did not last a day. We wanted to reprint and we looked for Spencer. But there was no way to get a contract to do everything legally: we only had that "shake hands" that we gave ourselves in Barcelona. At that time there was still no internet like now, you could not find your Face or pass an email, just call and wait to be put on a phone that never answered again. That's why there are only 2000 copies of Omnipresent, in the opinion of many, one of the best EPs of an authentic Chicago legend, Gemini.
