This superb record demonstrates why Geno was a such a fixture on the London R&B circuit in the 60s. Washington, backed by the super tight Ram Jam Band, rattles through his set of R&B and soul covers at an unrelenting pace as each song segues into the next. The production showcases Geno's joyful, rough edged vocals and if you close your eyes the Ram Jam Band could be in the room with you. One of the few records I know which capture the excitement of a live performance.
