This album is absolutely lovely. Benson and Farrell are an excellent duo. The guitar and flute work on this album just feels natural and warm. My favorite track on this album has to be "Beyond The Ozone", it's a nice laidback song. Although to me the album gets a little smooth sometimes it's still a 4/5 in my book.

Side 1-track 1 appeared to have a 'recording issue' with a slight warbling of the pitch. Remaining tracks played back perfectly. Benson was his usual solid self and Farrell was impressive (this was the first time I had heard him perfofm). All in all, your typical solid CTI release.

More structured than most of Benson's other albums, and, in my opinion, better off with George's mouth shut, I find "Benson & Farrell" is some fantastic listening.
I had stumbled on it back in '76 when I was working in a music store (when such things existed) and have liked it ever since.
Great arrangements and great guitar work, some nice flute work too.
