This album is dedicated to Antonio Carlos Jobim, who changed the way I listened to music, and to Anselmo Feleppa, who changed the way I look at my life. May they rest in peace. George Michael.
Thank you for waiting.

This has to stop now.It is not about sharks anymore.
It has become ridiculous, sad and stupid!Madness and insanity if you ask me!
A piece of plastic,sick!
It is insane and not worth the money they ask for it!
Please do a decent repress and cut these sharks off.

Wow, the prices for this album has only gotten more and more ridiculous as time has progressed. It only makes sense there will be a reissue, which I won't be surprised if it happens in the near future. Perhaps even by someone like VMP. I think it's absolutely bonkers how people are charging upwards of $600 or more for an album. Much less an album that's quality is probably not that great since it's an hour long album crammed onto one (presumably thin since that was often common in the mid 90s) vinyl. Unless it has George's autograph on it, it should not be THIS much.

This is an amazing album but do beware: I have personally heard 3 copies of this LP in my life including my own and the songs are tightly packed on to two sides of vinyl and all three have clicks here and there (usually at the end of Older which is v annoying). It is a great album but I cannot believe it will never be repressed.

As a 32-year-old vinyl collector, seeing great mid-‘90s albums only available on wax for stupid money sometimes makes me curse my luck in not being born two decades earlier... or having a time machine, lol. I hope those who do own this one appreciate their good fortune.

Vinyl reissue? By whom? Who owns the physical reproduction/distribution album master rights to pursue such undertaking? Epic/Sony? NO... the defunct DreamworksSKG/UMG in the US? Maybe a piece... Virgin EMI Records UK? Maybe another piece. Reversion of copyright clause? Hey, it's millionaire GM' lawyers inking this deal in 1995 so why not?! After GM's legal battle with Epic which lasted 1991-1996— remember George said he wouldn't record for Epic/Sony again? — George became paranoid and launched a new label, Aegean Records, with his cousin Andreas Georgiou and through David Geffen negotiated a settlement with Epic/Sony which allowed to set George free in exchange for 4% of sales and a limited Ladies & Gentleman compilation release (which also cannot be released on vinyl) overall a $100M deal... long story short, ownership of the physical reproduction/distribution rights on the master is most certainly split between UMG in the US, perhaps Virgin/EMI Records UK rest of the world AND/OR Aegean Records with GM's Estate (GM's dad Kyriacos and sisters Yioda and Melanie) having the ultimate say ... So... who would sit all of the above parties plus Andreas around a table to discuss a reissue??

I can’t believe I’m considering spending $800 on an album. Can someone PLEASE take pity on us GM diehards and reissue this seminal record??? Preferably before I completely take leave of my senses and part with an obscene amount of money for a piece of plastic.

Ridicilous prices and it's not exactly scarce with so many for sale. Some even just VG which isn't good enough to even play. This has certainly turned out to be the "Wall Street" of record sales. Which is why I don't buy much here anymore. It's full of Sharks/Parasites.

I've never sell this vinyl record to anyone for Money, due the death of Geogre Michael. I have this record MINT and i'd love to have in my record collection, listen and feel the magic voice of the greatest singer of 80's. So, because i'm not a cemetery crow, that sell Everything for the Money, i keep this beautiful record and hear the Great voice of Γιώργος Παναγιώτου For Ever!!!! (26-7-2007 George Michael FINAL came to GREECE for the last Live, and i was there) Thank GOD!!! R.I.P Γιώργο.

It's an amazing album. Of course I knew some of Michael's songs before, had a couple of singles, one with Wham, but it wasn't until this cool and laid back album was released, that he really got my ears opened. I already had quite a lot of listens of Older at one of my friends' place on a CD, before I went to a record store in Copenhagen, Route 66, and bought it on vinyl. I remember the seller said: "You've never heard so much bass" referencing the vinyl compared to the CD. That was back in the good old days when vinyl was 'dead'. It was 20 €.
