Notes

Note from the Label:

For your information there is an ultra short drop out at the very end of the 'Genesis' track on ITL003 due to the original DAT tape wear. The track was too good in order not to be included. Hope you feel the same!

People complain about noise on obscure, experimental Greek archival compilation from god knows when and yet keep silent when current and trendy club bangers from well respected and known labels/artists sound absolutely shit. you guys are weird...

I thought this sounded fantastic, minor noise is never a problem for me. one of the best reissues this year

Great compilation.

I don't know why people are complaining about noise issues. The music sounds great. Let's listen to the music and not the noise, how does that sound? To be honest, at no time did extraneous surface or pressing noise become noticeable or detract from the listening for me personally, so anybody who is on the fence on buying this based on a couple opinions, don't let that sway you. Beautiful music, period.

Somewhat noisy, definitely not dusty DAT tapes, it's not a complete deal breaker...but if it ever comes available digitally I'll buy it that way, and file the lp away.

Hi, thank you for your interest. First impression was: Oops, finally my pick-up's broken-down! I think the noise appears to be most significant between tracks and in quieter parts. I listened to 'Nicotine 4' very loud and it sounds almost worse than a copy in VG condition. The noise dominates here most clearly. But also a (rather loud) track like 'Redemption' or the following track have too much noise integrated. Yes, it seems to me that it is not just background noise but some inherent noise. Yet I do not believe that this is caused by some "dusty DAT tapes".

Anyway, thanks for feeling responsible. Perhaps we should exchange copies for a better understanding and comparison.

Terribly noisy vinyl, I have checked two different sealed copies of this now, is this an issue with all copies? It really takes away from this type of music, all of the quieter tracks / interludes are ruined basically...
