The slightly earlier catalogue number Rap-A-Lot Records ‎– SL 57152 (The Convicts album), has the same label design, so the theory of a first run of the pressing with this label makes sense.

This variant has an identical catalogue number and runout groove etchings but instead of the red Priority Records logo, it has a large black Rap-A-Lot Records logo at the top of the label. It still has the wording Manufactured and Distributed by Priority Records but the prominent logo on the label is Rap-A-Lot.

Another difference is this variant does not have the red Priority Records Inc, Hollywood, California wording along the bottom of the label.

The actual sleeve/jacket is identical to the other SL 57161 LP release on this site.

My guess is that it was the first run of pressings before Priority Recs came into the forefront regarding Rap-A-Lot but would be interesting if someone could verify - or provide more info on this variant.
